Dominick "Hunk" Galiano was one of the underbosses who ran the Rush street area. He also managed the famous caberat club "The talk of the town" on Clark street off Division street. He was born January 20,1913. He was gunned down on March 10,1966 in Chicago,Ill on LaSalle street.It started in the back of a restaurant and after being shot 3 to 5 times he still managed to crawl on to the street where he died. 3 people were questioned, one being Jasper Campiese a life long friend. They were questioned and released. No one was ever convicted of the murder. I would like to know where I can get more information and photos on his criminal record.

i do know he was heavy into gambling and was with the north side crew (rush st)
he had a club on rush st called the candy store. if you have any info on jasper it would be a big help

Divarco meeting her at the edgewater hotel about feburary of 1961. the purpose of this vist was to see if she passed the test. she worked at a high class brothel off of michigan ave. she left the area in december of 1965. i can tell more . how can we be in touch.

I babysat for Alan Rosenberg when I was a teenager & he was murdered in 1967 & left in a Cadillac on Ainslie St. My Dad did time with "Momo" & he told me about those days. I grew up in an age of paranoia, so its surreal to be posting on here!! I am looking for info on the Jewish fellas that were part of the "Chicago Outfit" in the 1955-1070 era.

ReplyDeleteDoes anyone here have information on a strip joint called "Nini's Remember When - Revue" located on Chestnut right around the corner from "The Candy Store" on Rush street in Chicago? I was in a jazz band, and we were one of the last live groups to play in a strip club in Chicago. I was very young. From what I heard, it was really a front for a gambling operation in the basement. Makes sense since there was never anyone in the joint and 80% of the people that came in were ushered into a backroom. I tried to go back there once and it was suggested to me that it wouldn't be a good idea to try and find out. We didn't work there long after that.

ReplyDeleteI worked for AT&T the phone company for over 9 years, I was the head and only mechanic for a fleet of over 80 vehicles worth million of dollars and I made very good money and had good benefits, Crooked Chicago MOB cops got me MOBBED stalked and harrassed for over year and half at the garages they made the techs into my enemies, they made up I was homosexual and lots of other nasty rumors that destroyed my name, I used to be friends with all of my coworkers and never had trouble with any of them for over 5 years before the the crooked MOB Cops came along, Ive been trying to find a lawyer to sue the crooked cops for over a year and half and still cant find any lawyer, even though the MOB Cops broke many civil rights laws, I have millions of dollars of damages and still no lawyers, now Im looking for the a lawyer to sue AT&T for a year and half of harassment and wrongfull termination, Ive been searching for a lawyers for months and still cant find any, I did find 2 lawyers and had 2 contracts for services offered for the AT&T case, a few days later after the contracts were given out, I tried to contact them, they never answered emails or phone calls the crooked MOB Cops got to them to.
ReplyDeleteAll this trouble started after we rented to a guy named Leonard Cox who we found out later with a background check was a burglar,auto thief, drug addict , male prostitute, he rented my basement and made false police reports and so did his fake witness( I do have audio tapes of him that proves they both made fake police reports) at the same time he was living their, their was a fire right in back of our garage and right before he moved in their was burglary right in front of are house too one of my neighbors. Then the Chicago crime ring committed more crimes I found out later, using the their cell phone SCANNER to find out my location to commit or make more fake police reports to try to frame me.
All they have to do is find Leonard Cox in oregon and he'll snitch on everybody but the crooked cops aint doing that their working for their friends.
In Chicago the cops are in the MOB they do not go after the white MOB thats their friends, their trying to set me up for a 10 year convict male prostitution on welfare, they are trying to set me up for the worlds DUMBEST crimes you will ever hear about, I have taken many IQ tests and my is IQ way above average and would never waste my time doing brain less bull shit after this freak moved in, this is the dumbest bull shit i ever heard. Chicago cops are the crookedest, dumbest, racists, incompetent lowlifes I have ever seen. Every body watch in Chicago for the MOB with the scanner and fake reports every where.

Does anyone have any information on a man that used the names Walter or Junior Bratton. He was active in the Outfit in the 1960's and 1970's and maybe before and after those times. He was born in the late 1920's so he would be in his early 80's right now. He was a truck driver, mechanic and chef. Probably a lower level guy, he carried 2 pearl pistols and was of Cherokee Indian descent. If anyone has any info, please post it on the board or some contact information where I can reach you.

This is a shot in the dark. I'm looking for information on Edward Gordon around the time of 1933-34-35. My grandmother was married to him they lived at 1514 Ardmore - Edgewater. Don't know a lot about what happened but my mother was born in 34 shortly thereafter he disappeared and she started going by the last name Brown no marriage certificates for Gordon or brown and there was always talk of a mob Alias he was an auto parts salesman and that was the reason she started using brown. Most of my family is gone and they would not talk about it when they were alive. Any information would be helpful.
