Larry Hanrisch has put together an excellent crime map, listing various mafia killings in Los Angeles from 1908 to 1951. He also provides some of his
reflections and analysis of his research. Hanrish is the leading Black Dahlia expert and a collaborator in the 1947 project. He has been a copy editor at The Times since 1988 and he has appeared on many TV shows discussing the Dahlia case, notably "James Ellroy's Feast of Death."
